Alpine all-rounder – whether rock climbing in summer or ice climbing in winter, the Mutant 22 is the perfect climbing partner.
The 5th generation of the Mutant is a reliable, intelligently equipped climbing backpack for year-round ascents. Designed for fast pitches in the summer to winter summit climbs, the Mutant 22 always fits the bill. If you’re climbing in cold weather, you’ll appreciate the snow-repellent back panel, side ski holders, and dual ToolLock™ system for quick and secure attachment of your ice tools. When wearing a climbing harness, the hip belt can be optionally folded back or removed entirely. The main compartment of the Mutant 22 is accessible from the top via a zipper. The lid folds over to the front and the backpack can be loaded easily. The upper compression strap under the lid can be led to the outside and thus serves as a rope holder. Under the lid is a mesh pocket for your essentials and keys.
